Who am I?
I’m Lauren , currently studying the dynamic world of sociology at Liverpool John Moores University. My passion for understanding society’s intricacies fuels my academic pursuits. Beyond the textbooks and lecture halls, I found myself inspired to delve deeper into the subjects that ignite my curiosity. From the spark of an idea, this was born.
Sociology isn’t just a field of study for me; it’s a lens through which I view the world and a source of endless fascination.
My interests.
Beyond the world of sociology and academia, I love exploring and expressing myself. Traveling is one of the best gifts, and it satisfies my curiosity about different cultures and ways of life. Whether I’m walking through old city streets or enjoying a beautiful landscape, I find inspiration in the diverse world around us.
Thailand, in particular, is very special to me. I enjoyed the lively Thai culture, from the busy markets to the peaceful temples. It has had a big impact on me. Whether I’m enjoying street food in Bangkok or visiting the calm beaches of Phuket, each moment in Thailand has been meaningful to me.
However, when I’m not traveling, I enjoy reading captivating books. It’s more than just a hobby – it’s a journey into different worlds, a chance to gain new perspectives, and a source of endless fascination. The written word has a unique power to shape our understanding of the world, and I love being part of that transformative experience.
Writing is another avenue through which I channel my creativity and thoughts. Whether it’s crafting essays, jotting down personal reflections, or sharing insights, the act of putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) is my way of making sense of the world and contributing to the ongoing conversation.
And then there’s roller skating and heels dancing—a delightful blend of freedom and exhilaration. They teach me balance, resilience, and the importance of enjoying the ride, even when the path is unpredictable, which is often when I go to dance.
These interests represent the facets of life that bring me joy, forging a connection beyond the digital realm. Let’s explore the world, share stories, and maybe even roll through life together.
